Having defined the Fire Zone, the 3D Grade Zone and the position the Fire detector ‘s 3D Field of View, the 3D Fire Detector Coverage is evaluated with our advanced 3D Fire and Gas Detector Mapping Application.
For each Fire Detector, the Fire Detector's Unobstructed View is determined by projecting the Fire Detector’s Obstructed Field of View within the 3D Grade Zone and subtracting it from the Fire Detector's Field of View. The 3D Fire Detector Coverage is the fraction of the 3D Grade Zone covered by the Fire Detector ‘s 3D Unobstructed Field of View.
For a One out of N Voting (1ooN), the 3D Fire Zone Detector Coverage is the fraction of the 3D Grade Zone covered by the combined N Fire detector ‘s 3D Unobstructed Field of View. For N out of N Voting (NooN), the 3D Fire Zone Detector Coverage is the fraction of the 3D Grade Zone covered by the intersection of N Fire detector ‘s 3D Unobstructed Field of View. Undetected 3D Coverage (0ooN) as well as Detected 3D Coverage (1ooN / NooN) are clearly presented in the 3D Cad model of the Process Plant.
